Internet problems can originate with one device, Wi-Fi, the router, the modem or fiber terminal, DNS, or the ISP. Use the troubleshooting sequence in [https://www.whatismyip.com/troubleshoot-network-problems/?utm\_source=community&utm\_medium=social&utm\_campaign=pipeline-362&utm\_content=topic](https://www.whatismyip.com/troubleshoot-network-problems/?utm_source=community&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=pipeline-362&utm_content=topic) to narrow down the failing layer before posting.

- What symptom were you experiencing, and did it affect one device or the entire network?
- Which comparison or diagnostic test isolated the problem?
- What ultimately fixed it, or which results are still unclear?

Helpful technical details include the device and operating system, whether Ethernet and Wi-Fi behaved differently, whether the router gateway was reachable, whether DNS lookups worked, and the modem or router model.

Please remove public IP addresses, Wi-Fi passwords, network names, account information, device identifiers, and other identifying details from screenshots or diagnostic results.
